Thank You!!!

Thank you to all who helped make the 2008 pumpkin season a success!!!

Pumpkins are still available at Harper Valley Farms for your Thanksgiving goodies.  If you would like to go to the patch, please call ahead of time (812) 591-3416 so we can get a cart out for your convenience.   Picked pumpkins, squash and gourds are still available by the shed.  We operate using the honor system at this time.

The pumpkin patch will open September 19, 2009.  Mums should be available around Labor Day.   If you want, call ahead to make sure the mums are ready.

Here is what is planned for the 2009 pumpkin patch.

Everyone is invited to explore the 8 acre patch to find the perfect pumpkin.  Visitors can borrow a cart to take to the field and fill with their treasures.  If the weather permits, cars can also be driven into the field.  This has become an annual tradition for many families in the area.

A large assortment of picked pumpkins, squash and gourds are also available.  In the shed you will find corn stalks, straw, mini gourds, raw honey, onions, and tomatoes.  Farm animals will be available for everyone to see.  A small sunflower maze will also be available for the kids to explore.

Harper Valley Pumpkin Patch Days are October 10 & 11, 2009.  There will be pumpkin picking, farm animals, crafts and face painting.  Food will also be served by the ladies from the Lord of Life Lutheran Church.  Festival hours 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bring the family and come join the fun!
